(Part1) 사물 위치를 강조한 상황

사물이 중심인 사진에서 가장 많이 출제되는 유형이 사물 위치를 강조한 상황이라고 한다. 사물 간의 전후, 좌우, 상하 위치관계가 주로 출제되는데, 이럴 경우 빈출 표현은 이런 것이 있었다.

1. be placed on(next to, under, behind).
 위(옆, 아래, 뒤)에 놓여 있다.
2. be arranged on(next to, under, behind).
 위(옆, 아래, 뒤)에 놓여 있다.
3. be filled with(=be stocked with, be on display).
 채워져 있다(진열되어 있다)
4. Be displayed(=be on display, be exhibited, be laid out)
 진열되어 있다(진열되어 있다, 전시되다, 놓여 있다)
5. be on sale.
 할인 중이다
6. be for sale.
 판매 중이다.
7. be stacked(=be piled)
 쌓여 있다
8. be suspended(=be hung)
 매달려 있다
※be being p.p형태의 문장은 사람의 동작이 존재해야 하나, display의 경우 사물이 주체, 즉 사람의 행동이 연관되지 않은 사진이라도 be displayed의 형태 사용이 가능하다.

이에 따른 기출문장은 이런 것이 있었다.

1. Some potted plants are placed on the table.
 화분들이 테이블에 놓여져 있다.
2. The shelves are filled with various kinds of pots.
 선반들이 다양한 단지들로 채워져 있다.
3. A variety of flowers are for sale.
 다양한 꽃들이 판매 중이다.
4. The store sells a variety of produce.
 상점이 다양한 농산물을 판매한다.
5. Tables and chairs are arranged on the patio.
 의자와 테이블이 테라스에 정렬되어 있다.
6. The newspapers are lying on the ground.
 신문들이 박닥에 놓여 있다.
7. A cloth has been spread across the chair.
 천이 의자를 가로질러 놓여 있다.
8. There are some bicycles on display in the window.
 창가에 자전거들이 진열되어 있다.
9. Some equipment has been laid out on the table.
 몇몇 장비들이 테이블 위에 놓여 있다.
10. Display shelves are stocked with products.
 진열대에 물건들이 채워져 있다.
11. Clay pots are exhibited in a case.
 도자기들이 진열장에 전시되어 있다.
12. Boxes are stored on multiple shelves.
 선반들에 박스들이 놓여 있다.
13. Some books are stacked on top of one another.
 책들이 차곡차곡 쌓여 있다.
14. The leaves are piled up on the steps of the houses.
 나뭇잎이 계단 위에 쌓여 있다.
15. Potted plants have been set on tables.
 화분에 심어진 화초들이 테이블 위에 놓여 있다.
16. Pillows are spread out on sofas.
 배게들이 소파 위에 널려 있다.
17. There are shelves on both sides of the women.
 여자들의 양 옆에 선반들이 있다.
18. There`s a gap between the tables.
 테이블과 테이블 사이가 떨어져 있다.
19. A large piece of pottery is situated in the corner.
 커다란 도자기가 구석에 놓여 있다.
20. A ladder has propped against the house.
 사다리가 집 옆에 기대어져 있다.
21. A vase is centered on a dining table.
 꽃병이 책상 중앙에 놓여져 있다.
22. Papers have been tacked to a bulltein board.
 종이들이 게시판에 압정으로 고정되어 있다.
23. A light fixture is suspended above the table.
 조명이 테이블 위에 매달려 있다.
